EDUS 515 Lesson Plans

These three lesson plans would be part of a longer unit on fractions. There would be several additional lessons prior to "Day 1" to review the general concept of fractions as well as several lessons between "Day 2" and "Final Day" to cover additional topics, such as simplifying fractions, converting improper fractions back to mixed numbers, and finding equivalent fractions. This lesson fits with the grade 6 math standards in Pennsylvania, but could also be used in upper grades during review of fractions. The no-bake cookie recipe (Final Day) would be a culminating activity at the end of the unit. The recipe is nut and dairy free.
